Good Japanese food

Posted by DahviOne on 11/9/2009

Great service and good japanese food. Nice atmosphere when it's less chaotic either way before the lunch rush or after. Lunch time is crazy and you'd be real lucky if you didn't have to wait for a table. I guess that's a good problem when it shows that their place is busy and popular. It's worth waiting for if you have the time of course.

Unique rolls

Posted by world_traveler on 4/21/2009

They have a large selection of rolls here, with several of them being unique. The sushi is fresh and good. The service is friendly, and the restaurant is well lit and comfortable. It's a great place to go eat with friends. My friend had recommended this place to me, and after a good dining experience, it's only fitting that I recommend it too.

Good price- Fast service

Posted by verygoodcook on 1/26/2007

We have been with my husband twice to this restaurant and we really like their prices. We believe they have a variety of dishes. I had a good experience with the Nigiri Sushi, really liked it. We thought the service was really fast the first time. The second time, they took a while to bring the menu. It is a really busy place. It's a kid friendly restaurant. I would definitely recommend improving a little bit the atmosphere.

Worst Customer Service

Posted by brooklyn100 on 10/3/2006

I used to go to this restaurant all the time because the price is very reasonable for a Japanese restaurant and the food is okay. The staff is generally okay but I recently had a very bad experience there with two of my friends. I ordered the Nabeyaki Udon and a California roll and both of my friends ordered the C-3 Lunch special which was a Chicken Teriyaki and California Rolls bento box. First of all, they only brought out one C-3 order and one of my friends had to wait to get hers and by the time it came, we were almost already done with lunch. Our bill automatically popped up on table and we all paid it and sat there finishing our tea. I don't know who this one lady was but I think she may be a supervisor or manager but she kept looking at us like "Get out now that you've paid". To irritate her, we stayed a little longer than we wanted to since she was literally giving us dirty looks and silently telling us to get the hell out by passing by our table and huffing and puffing. It finally got to the point that she actually moved another table that was next to our table and attached it to our table. We had already put tip on the table but at that point, but we all took our tip back and walked out of the restaurant. I'll never go back there again. Customer's do not deserve that type of service. She should be happy to have our business and that we were regular customers. This same lady has always been somewhat rude and we've kind of brush it aside but this last time was it for me. They don't deserve my business and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone so please don't go there!

FAST TAKEOUT, GOOD FOOD

Posted by JENNIFER F. on 10/26/2005

I haven't actually eaten inside the restaurant, but have ordered food to go. The food is very good and it was prepared in a timely manner. The location is convenient and easy to find. I highly recommend Sozo Sushi for takeout!
